Dear friends,
we introduce ourselves: we are the team of the ACR, the Diocese of Ascoli Piceno. We have something to say to each of you.
We are confident that the Peace which we discussed in this vigil is built starting from the towns and villages where we live. That's why we want a friendly city where diversity is not a problem but a resource. A city where there is racism, but different cultures and ideas that communicate entering report. Only the knowledge it brings respect and then to peace. We want a city where the rules of civilized life are truly respected by all, a city fit for us kids, taking into account our need to play, such as taking care of the order of public parks, a city that looks to our future with ecological choices strong. We'd love to live in a place where designers become dauber walls, where thugs and criminals understand that for reasons that are his hands, but the brain. We dream of a city that is attentive to find out which family problems, economic and social hiding behind the violence. Therefore, we invite you all to go out, like Zacchaeus (Luke 19: 1-10) from the closed rooms of your not to build more walls, but doors. All participate in building a city of peace.
